A versatile licensed architect, Kate has 20 years of experience in the building and real estate industries as a business owner, architect of record, owner’s representative, managing architect, team leader, and property manager. She has been responsible for assessing building conditions, accessibility needs, coordinating facility maintenance, replacement planning, and managing strategic budgets for multiple-property portfolios.

Kate manages accessibility consulting and remediation projects for clients with multi-site residential, education, and commercial properties. With a flair for explaining complex requirements, she applies her experience as an architect, project manager, and accessibility specialist to help clients understand the imperatives of designing and building to accessibility standards and codes. When noncompliant conditions or complaints arise, she guides clients through the corrective process.

As an author and presenter Kate has addressed facilities management topics ranging from capital improvement funding and phasing to decision-making in homeowner associations. She hold elite certifications within professional community association management organizations.
