“Treating people as I would want to be treated inspires my work to ensure that people with and without disabilities have fair and equitable access to safe living places.”
Trained as an architect, Joe is experienced in all aspects of the building industry – from code analysis and shop drawing review to permit processing and site inspections. He has the inclination and aptitude to be an informative and helpful member of LCM’s Fair Housing Act specialty team.
Highly regarded for his command of details and upbeat, team-oriented approach, Joe serves the multifamily housing industry by performing plan reviews with constructive comments, conducting field inspections and preparing reports, and composing compliance letters. Joe appreciates the mutually rewarding exchanges he has with field personnel as he conducts accessibility site reviews nationwide, providing practical information about FHA compliance deficiencies and solutions while gaining insights about running a successful construction project.
Joe values his roots. At one time he published a foreign language newspaper focused on preserving Czechoslovakian heritage and also worked in carpentry and concrete construction with ‘old school’ tradesmen.
