Scenic Mountain Dwelling

LCM Architects planned and designed Solace at the Ranch, a multifamily development in Colorado Springs which is part of a larger mixed-use development. The development is situated on the outskirts of the city, in the backdrop of farmlands which inspired its name.
The plan includes 17 walkup buildings, 8 carriage houses, and a clubhouse on a 17-acre site. One-, two-, and three-bedroom units comprise the 374 apartments in the development. Parking garages and shades are provided in addition to surface parking. There is provision of electric charging stations with capacity to increase five-fold through the life of the project.
Residents can take advantage of many amenities, including an outdoor pool and spa, fitness center, grilling and dining pavilions, and indoor and outdoor games. The clubhouse interiors exude a captivating western ambiance expressed in contemporary style. A lofty community room and other clubhouse spaces built in traditional timber-frame evoke a rustic lodge.
Drawing inspiration from regional vernaculars, the building exteriors are artfully expressed using stone, textured siding, and both exposed and cultured wood finishes.
