General and Recreation Offices
Glynn County entered into a settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice requiring that the County survey buildings and facilities not reviewed by DOJ investigators during a previous ADA compliance survey.
LCM developed a survey form specific to the County’s needs and worked over a two week period to gather the necessary information, including photographs and sketches of the facilities. Reports, including remediation recommendations for all facilities, were reviewed by Glynn County and submitted to DOJ for review and approval. LCM then provided technical assistance to local architecture firms that were responsible for developing construction documents and cost estimates to implement our recommended remediation plans.
