LCM designed the Fields South mixed-use community envisioned to be a contemporary ‘live-work-play’ community.

Phase I includes two identical three-story multifamily residentials buildings. Each 39,000 square foot building houses 56 one- and two-bedroom apartments on the top two levels. LCM is also designing the tenant buildouts for retail and office spaces that occupy the first floor.

Pre-war industrial facades in the area feature monumental windows and minimal ornamentation, which inspired our design. In keeping with this theme, punched monolithic openings emphasize verticality. Dark gray, cable hung steel balconies contribute to the modern feel. The exterior elements complement other buildings in the area.

A prominent 10,000 square foot pedestrian plaza between the two buildings provides a destination venue for restaurant seating and community events.
