LCM is the Independent Licensed Architect retained to assess ADA Title II compliance of municipal facilities in the City of Milwaukee.
The City modified police stations, fire houses, and administrative buildings to remove barriers and provide program accessibility. LCM evaluated the modifications to confirm ADA compliance. We also conducted accessibility surveys and made recommendations for corrective actions to achieve ADA compliance of hundreds of additional sites including:
- Public parks
- Libraries
- Recreational sites
- Polling facilities
- Emergency shelters
- Parking structures
We have a multi-year agreement to review a percentage of modified curb ramps to assess compliance with the ADA.
