Anchoring the site, the new office building consolidates operations to increase efficiency while setting the path for growth in the community. Carle Foundation Hospital was leasing space in 10 locations for more than 1,400 employees. The new building consolidates Carle and Health Alliance administrative and support functions to improve efficiency and collaboration.
With an expression of brick and stone, the architecture complements other Carle facilities in the area. Maximized views out to a patio and landscaped courtyard provide a welcoming environment filled with natural light. The design focuses on efficiency improvements with ’smart space’ principles. Flexible technology, systems, and controls allow open and modular design components to be easily reconfigured. Employees also have access to biking and hiking trails on the site.
Consolidating departments into one office facility enables Carle to save on energy and operational costs, increase employee productivity, and conserve financial resources to expand healthcare services.
