Berglund Construction hired us to build out their satellite office in the Fields South Development, also designed by LCM. Berglund is a nationally recognized construction management and building restoration firm. The design incorporates its distinctive brand identity and showcases its portfolio, superior craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology. The office includes an entry lobby, reception, conference room, and a multipurpose area. Furthermore, the back end is for staff to use only, with two office rooms, a copy room/storage, a mechanical room, and a powder room. LCM provided the design language to represent best the products, materials, and finishes selected by the client.

A part of the project scope was creating a commercial showroom for DIRTT, a modular interior construction company, to showcase its products. The conference room opens into the lobby with a DIRTT operable glass-door partition system specified to work within the structural constraints. The partition features opaque glass panels in the brand’s color palette of blue and white, fitted in a wooden frame. DIRTT wall paneling features client branding throughout the spaces. . Additionally, display screens are incorporated seamlessly into the paneling in the lobby, conference room, and multipurpose area; a glass floor by DIRTT is showcased in a portion of the multipurpose site, flush with the rest of the flooring ensuring wheelchair accessibility. Finally, working closely with the client, contractor, and vendors led to a smooth design delivery.
