At three stories each, the buildings are contextually compatible with the predominantly low- and mid-rise buildings in the area. Together the buildings contain 51 dwelling units.
LCM is the architect for two new apartment buildings facing a historic park in the vicinity of downtown Champaign. The buildings are of all wood construction, with exterior detailing of stone, brick, and fiber cement board. Large windows introduce plentiful natural light into the apartments, which enjoy desirable views of the nearby park. The development’s residential character is subtly reinforced by a low slope roof.  Â
The majority of units are one-bedroom layouts, although a few studio and two-bedroom units are available. All ground floor units are adaptable to accommodate tenants with disabilities as needed. Two staircases per building provide access to upper story units. Shielded from street view, grade-level uncovered parking for 16 vehicles is located behind the buildings.
