LCM welcomed several new employees in 2018 to our continually expanding architecture and accessibility consulting practice. Their diverse talents and experiences are an exciting contribution to our team.

Andrew Besalke

works as an Accessibility Reviewer in LCM’s FHA consulting group. With a Masters in Public Administration, he is experienced as a government legal industry professional. Inspecting buildings and public places for ADA compliance was among his many responsibilities at the Illinois Attorney General’s Disability Rights Bureau before joining LCM.

Ulises Guerrero

is an Accessibility Reviewer in LCM’s FHA consulting group that serves clients in the multifamily residential industry. He previously worked for the Chicago Park District’s Disability Policy Office, conducting ADA compliance surveys for 300 public parks. Ulises, who earned a BS in Architectural Studies and speaks five languages, uses his knowledge of accessibility standards and codes to better align the built environment with the diverse abilities of a broader population.

Patrick Mollison

joined LCM’s FHA consulting group as an Accessibility Reviewer with over 20 years of experience as a project manager and surveyor in the construction, compliance, and engineering industries in the US and his native Australia. His detailed knowledge of construction techniques, building codes and regulations, ADA standards, and local and state requirements is a valuable asset to LCM’s many multifamily residential clients seeking guidance on accessibility compliance.

Joyce Vela

joined LCM’s architecture practice as a registered architect with a diverse international background and over 10 years of experience on educational, mixed-use, commercial, and multifamily residential projects. She makes on-schedule delivery of high-quality drawings and efficient project coordination a priority. Engaged and detail-oriented, Joyce thrives in a collaborative environment where learning from peers and mentoring colleagues new to the profession are equally valued.

Alice Voigt

is an Accessibility Specialist in LCM’s ADA consulting group. During a career of nearly 20 years, she has focused on accessibility in the built environment, providing technical assistance on accessibility standards, guidelines, and regulations for over 50 buildings and outdoor recreation areas nationwide. She has also professionally served people with disabilities, assisting them in maintaining their independence at work, in school, or in the community. Alice has been an instructor and presenter for academic courses and national trainings on a range of accessibility topics.

Kasha Wisniewski

is an intern providing administrative support to LCM’s FHA consulting group. A native Chicagoan, she is a student at Columbia College Chicago focusing on theater direction.

David Zajeski

is an Architectural Designer in LCM’s architecture practice. He is a diligent professional whose command of Revit, AutoCAD, and numerous electronic visualization programs enhances the productivity and performance of the design group. David’s creative spirit reaches beyond the design realm to the world of music. At one time a professional percussionist, he now pursues his talent in his free time.
