Kat Dailey Joins LCM
LCM welcomes Katherine Dailey to our ADA consulting group. Kat energetically applies her seven years of architectural experience to make the built environment more usable for all people.
Kat is passionate about using her creativity and research talents to find new solutions. A self-proclaimed maker of things, she has already invented practical devices to make life easier for people needing assistance.
Kat pursued architecture as a profession and earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design. She attributes inspiration to an early industrial design class. Moving to Chicago, she worked for internationally acclaimed architecture firms, most recently focusing on K-12 projects. One of her most thoughtful projects she recalls is an early childhood center in the Cayman Islands.
Spurred by her interest in making things and engaging with the world, she has championed innovation incubator projects and participated in the ACE Mentor Program for high schoolers interested in building industry careers. Kat is currently active in Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build initiative.
