LCM was commissioned by the University of Notre Dame to survey campus facilities to evaluate campus-wide compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Campus buildings, parking areas and pedestrian routes were surveyed. A report was submitted that identifying accessibility issues. The report included recommendations for corrective action along with budget estimates for barrier removal. Modifications were prioritized so that remediation work could be included in the University’s plan for maintenance and construction. The report included a map locating accessible circulation routes and accessible building entrances which is now part of the University’s website. 

Training was provided to Notre Dame personnel and a Design and Construction Manual was prepared for use by project managers and maintenance staff.
