LCM's accessibility professionals work with attorneys, developers, designers, government agencies, hotels and retailers. Accessibility consulting projects span from coast to coast and involve the application of numerous accessibility standards for laws including: the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); the Fair Housing Act (FHA); the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA).

LCM provides consultation on the accessibility provisions for the International Building Code (IBC), ANSI, and various state and local codes. The scope of these projects ranges from consulting on the design of an entrance ramp, to managing a nationwide ADA survey project involving thousands of sites.

As licensed architects, LCM understands buildings and has the ability to provide design and construction document services as part of an accessibility consultation.

LCM's staff has personal and professional disability experience which provides unique insight into the requirements and interpretation of accessibility regulations, which help owners in making informed decisions that balance accessibility compliance decisions with budgetary, design, and functional considerations.
