Working with real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), LCM managed the survey of more than 5,900 of Bank of America’s banking centers to identify accessibility barriers as defined by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  For its assessment of the banking centers, LCM developed criteria for evaluation, established standards for site surveys and trained JLL surveyors.

Based on the surveys, barrier reports were developed that included Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) references, potential corrective actions and cost estimates.  LCM created corporate guidelines and standards for barrier removal along with a design manual that provided prototypical plans for recommended corrective actions. LCM continues to provide consultation on new designs, alterations to existing facilities, and surveys newly acquired branches.
